MBA Alum Fair 2009 (2009年 MBA夏祭り)
On July 20, 2009 we had our 6th annual MBA Alum Fair in Tokyo.
Every year, on 3rd Monday in July (National Holiday) AGOS hosts the largest MBA Fair in Japan by alums & current MBA students. This year, about 460 candidates registered for the event and 360 (78% show up rate) attended to interact with over 140 MBA alums / current students from 28 schools. The number of alums and current students was the largest group ever in the 6 year history of the event. Their contribution was tremendous in familiarizing the candidates with value of MBA education, campus life of different schools and career options and paths after MBA.
How this event came about in the first place and what kind of study abroad target years the participants are thinking about, the trend is similar as last year's event summary. Please refer to my comment from last year's alum fair posted here.
Below are the names of alums who kindly helped the event on the last day of a three day weekend, and pictures of alums who were present before the event started. As you can see from the list of the names there were many more who joined to help as the event progressed, totaling over 140 alums and current students who are back in Japan for summer internship.
